  • As from 01/01/2024, the accommodation tax of 1.5 € for 3 * hotel / 3 € for 4* hotel / 4 € for 5* hotel per night valid from 01/01/2018, is replaced by the CLIMATE CRISIS RESILIENCE FEE which is 3 € for 3 * hotel / 7 € for 4* hotel / 10 € for 5* hotel 10 € per room/night from March to October 2024. This fee is payable by the guests directly at the hotel upon check out.

Important notes

  • Hotel official check-in time: 15:00 Hrs. & check-out time: 11:00 Hrs
  • Tpl room: dbl bed + extra bed (as a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double room)
  • Child rates are valid for 1 child in sharing room with two full-paying adults
  • Tips: Tipping is expected from anyone providing your service e.g. Coach Driver, Local Guides etc. The tipping system is not mandatory but obligatory for the guests as an expression of gratitude.
  • Above rates are not valid during National / Bank Holidays or during major City Events that may take place in Greece.
  • Most hotels do not provide tea kettles in the rooms
  • Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers.
  • We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.
  • Customers will be responsible for any, loss, baggage loss, theft, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers. Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
  • In case of any significant change, caused by tax increase, fuel surcharge etc. deriving from governmental laws, ASIT reserves the right to adjust the rates accordingly.

Itinerary

Day 1Athens

Arrival in Athens. Our transfer will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Check-in. Overnight

Day 2Athens – Athens city tour & Acropolis museum

Breakfast and get ready for Athens Half day city tour. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop).

Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex. Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).

On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon.

Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis museum. Overnight.
